Citation Management

Some users are reporting a proxy error message when they try to access library databases (e.g. Dynamic Health, CINAHL). If you have the Zotero connector extension installed on Edge and/or Chrome, it may be using stored settings which direct you to an outdated proxy URL. Following these steps should fix the issue:

Edge:

1. Click on the three dots on the top right of the screen to open the "Settings and more" menu.
2. Click on "Extensions".

3. Click on the three dots by Zotero Connector
4. Select "Manage extension".

5. Near the bottom of the page, click on "Extension Options".
6. Select "Proxies" from the left side menu.
7. Uncheck enable proxy redirection.

Chrome:

1. Click on the three dots at the top right of the screen to open the "Customize and control Google Chrome" menu.
2. Click on "Extensions".
3. Select "Manage Extensions" from the pop-up menu.
4. Locate the Zotero Connector extension and click on "Details".
5. Near the bottom of the page, click on "Extension options".
6. Select "Proxies" from the left side menu.
7. Uncheck enable proxy redirection.
