This module will present an introduction into fall and injury prevention in the adult population. It will outline risk factors and strategies healthcare professionals can use to prevent falls and reduce the risk of injury to patients from a fall.

Best Practice for Prevention of Falls in Pediatric Populations

This module will present an introduction into fall prevention in the pediatric population. It will outline risk factors and specific strategies healthcare professionals can use to reduce the amount of falls in patients.

Morse Falls Scale: Fall Risk Assessment

This module will present information regarding the use of the Morse Falls Scale (MFS). The MFS is the standardized fall risk assessment tool used throughout adult acute care settings in the Nova Scotia Health Authority.
