Welcome to website of the Atlantic Health Libraries Association/Association des bibliothèques de la santé de l’Atlantique (AHLA/ABSA). This new association, and chapter of the Canadian Health Libraries Association (CHLA), came into being in April 2024, the result of a merger between the Maritime Health Libraries Association (MHLA/ABSM) and the Newfoundland and Labrador Health Libraries Association (NLHLA).

The Atlantic Health Libraries Association/Association des bibliothèques de la santé de l'Atlantique (AHLA/ABSA) is an association of health library specialists committed to the provision of high quality information services for the health care community in the Atlantic Provinces. The Association provides support to its members through excellence in leadership, advocacy, education and communications. AHLA/ABSA is a chapter of the national organization, Canadian Health Libraries Association / Association des bibliothèques de la santé du Canada.
