Unit-based wound care audits are used to evaluate the implementation of strategies to improve patient outcomes related to wound prevention and management.
It is important that the health service manager (HSM) ensures that these audits are completed at the outlined frequency. These audits are to be completed by designated personnel determined by the HSM.
