Outcomes

At the end of this module, participants will be able to:

  • Identify when a patient is decompensating and when/how to increase the level of care
  • Explain the signs and symptoms of stroke and describe the steps/actions to take
  • Explain what a Code Blue is and how to access emergency response system
  • List the roles and responsibilities of code team members
  • Locate and operate and all emergency equipment
  • Describe how to clearly and concisely document an emergency situation
