People in Pain Network are people with persistent pain helping other people with persistent pain to improve the quality of their lives by providing them with a greater understanding of the pain they are feeling. Online and in-person support groups are available in Nova Scotia.
Register to join a Pain Self-Management Group in your area. At the link, scroll down to find a meeting and location you are interested in, and select the register button.
The online Understanding Pain program will explain how the pain system works. You will learn how the body changes with chronic pain. You will also learn about the factors affecting pain and real ways to manage your pain. Attendance the first week of the series is required.
