Recovering from COVID-19 is different for everyone. It does not matter how old you are or how healthy you were before COVID-19. Some people feel better in a few weeks. For others, it may take months. Research is still being done and there is a lot that we still do not know. We want to support you with the most up-to-date information for managing your health.
Consider completing the My COVID Recovery Website Feedback (nshealth.ca) survey to let us know if your symptoms are not listed. This will help us to improve the information on this website.
This website provides information and resources to help you understand and manage your health after having COVID-19. It might also help your family, friends and caregivers understand what you are going through. The website contains a list of symptoms commonly experienced after COVID-19. We will continue to provide more resources and supports as we learn more about managing post-COVID symptoms and health issues.
You are not alone. Your experience after COVID-19 may feel different than the symptoms described in this website.

We are conducting a brief survey of people currently living in Nova Scotia who may be experiencing Post-COVID symptoms. The survey is to be filled out at least 3 months after the patient's COVID-19 diagnosis, and asks questions about how the patients feel now. We will use the information shared in the survey to help connect the patients with supports to manage their symptoms.
All information shared will remain confidential according to Nova Scotia Health policies. Please follow this link to read about these policies: http://www.nshealth.ca/your-privacy-nova-scotia-health
