The following questions were developed to help guide the PE analysis. When reviewing the data, it is important to incorporate information and analysis from patient care needs and staffing profile activities.
Critical Analysis Questions
Ask:
Which care processes are working well? Which require revisions?
Which care processes are not happening that should be? What would an implementation plan look like to introduce these processes?
Is the right equipment and/or a sufficient supply of equipment available to support care delivery?
Which units within Nova Scotia Health are similar that I could compare my team structure, complement and care delivery model?
What would be an external comparator for my unit/setting? (TBD)
